Why 1611?

Why 1611? The King James Version of the Bible was completed in 1611. It is the closest translated version of the Bible from the Greek and Hebrew languages in which the Bible was originally penned. Don’t take my word for it! Look into the various versions of the Bible and see which one is most closely preserved to the original.

“The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever." Psalm 12:6-7
